MUNICIPAL NOTIFICATION
Due to the present COVID-19 outbreak and the measures being employed to limit its spread, the PUBLIC is hereby asked that as of Monday, March 23, 2020, all persons submitting development applications (Building/Subdivision) to the Portmore City Municipality are asked to abide by the following guidelines:
1. All applications MUST be sent via email to: submissions.pcm@gmail.com
2. All documents to be attached MUST be titled as under:
a) Application Form (application forms may be downloaded from: https://portmoremc.gov.jm/resources
b) Proof of Ownership
c) Surveyor Report
d) Property Tax Payment Certificate
e) Any other supporting document to be appropriately labelled and attached
3. All building plans MUST be labelled as under:
a) Site and Location Plan
b) Floor Plans
c) Elevations and Sections
d) Sewage Details
e) Plumbing and Electrical
f) Landscape Plans
g) Any other sheets MUST be appropriately labelled and attached
4. Subdivision plans MUST be labelled accordingly and where drainage or other details are provided, these sheets must be so labelled. Communication will be provided thereafter indicating the sums to be paid. The method of payment will be via online banking using the following details:

Customers making payment online through their various online banking platform or making a deposit at the bank (through the teller) MUST send a confirmation email to acc.pcm20@gmail.com with the reference number (online transfer) or scanned copy of their receipt slip issued by the teller. Please note that the Portmore City Municipality can only prepare a receipt for funds that can be verified within the account given. Please see below, processing times for the transfers made to the Portmore City Municipality Bank A/C from the respective financial intuitions:
National Commercial Bank – within 24 hours
Bank of Nova Scotia – 24 to 48 hours
Jamaica National Bank – 24 to 96 hours
CIBC/FCIB – 24 to 96 hours
FGB – 24 to 96 hours
