Disaster Management
The Municipality of Portmore is local authority responsible to perform functions relating to Disaster Preparedness and Public Health Management.
The Committee deals with issues such as the state of the sewer ponds, sanitary conveniences, garbage disposal, mosquito eradication, elimination of rat infestations, health hazards and the establishment and Management of shelter for use in disasters and emergencies
