The Portmore Municipal Council would like to inform you that there will be a temporary Closure of the Forum Bridge, St. Catherine on Friday November 13,2015.
The bridge's closure will last for three months to facilitate repairs to the bridge's superstructure.
A detour road will be opened to motorists and pedestrians during its temporary closure. Operators of heavy duty vehicles will not be allowed to use the detour road.
There will be a one way directional flow northbound (heading into Kingston, from Portmore via the bridge) Morning peak hours 5:00 am to 9:00 am and in the evening 4:00pm to 8:00pm one way directional flow will operate southbound (from Kingston into Portmore).
Motorists are advised to obey the instructions of the police and the traffic signals approaching the bridge.
