KSAC expresses deepest sympathies at the death of Dominic James

Her Worship the Mayor of Kingston, Senator and Councillor Dr. Angela Brown Burke, J.P., on behalf of the Kingston and St. Andrew Corporation (KSAC) family joins Jamaica in mourning the passing of 18 year old Dominic James, captain of the St. George’s College’s football team who died suddenly during a match yesterday.

It is indeed a sad time for the St. George’s and the school boy football family, but particularly so for the parents, friends and relatives of Dominic James.

“Words alone cannot bring comfort to their aching hearts as they endure this great loss,” Mayor Brown Burke expressed.

We at the KSAC, would like to express our deepest condolence to the families, teammates, and the wider school and football population as they experience this great tragedy.

From what we have gathered, Dominic was a young, brilliant student and football player with great potential. He represented his schools well. Prior to transferring to St. George’s College in 2015, he captained the Jamaica College Under 16 teams and played Manning Cup for JC as well.

His untimely passing will no doubt leave a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
