Twenty-four-year-old paraplegic Surragee Whorms Jr of Daytona, Portmore, St Catherine, has received a wheelchair to assist with his mobility.
The Sunday Gleaner highlighted Whorms' plight and acting Mayor of Portmore Leon Thomas, accompanied by Member of Parliament for the area Fitz Jackson, presented a new wheelchair to Whorms on Sunday.
