Procurement Committee Training
A training seminar for members of the Procurement Committees of the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation and the Municipality of Portmore was held at the Municipality, Portmore Pines Plaza, Greater Portmore, St. Catherine on Tuesday, July 11, 2017.
The Seminar which was planned and hosted by the Ministry of Local Government and Community Development saw several members and non-members from both the Corporation and the Municipality.
The presentation and discussion was focussed on Procurement and Asset Policy Analysist and this of course included the mandate of the Procurement Committees.
It was evident that by the end of the presentation and activity, participants grasped additional and relevant information that will be of use at procurement meetings, going forward.
