Barbers, Cosmetologists, Hairdressers or Beauty Therapists and Salon owners are expected to have their businesses licenced. In order to acquire this licence, they need to fill out and submit an application form accompanied by the following documents:
- Health certificate issued by the Medical Officer of Health for the Parish in which the applicant resides,
- Three attested photographs of the applicant taken no earlier than one month beforethe date of the application,
- A certified copy of the certificate or diploma granted by a Professional Trainign Institution
- the certificate or diploma must cover the field within which the applicant wishes to be licenced.
- Appropriate fee specified (Fees range from $500 - $5,000)
- Tax Registation Number (TRN)
Licences are valid for a year and can be renewed within thirty (30) days of the expiry date.
