The Permit Parking System was reintroduced by the Manchester Parish Council on Monday, December 14, 2015.
The objectives of the system are to regulate parking, ease traffic conjestion, create public order and encourage space turn over.
The following streets will be affected:
- Manchester Road
- Ward Avenue
- South Race Course Road
- Park crescent
- Brigade Crescent
Parking Fees:
- $50.00 per hour or any part thereof
- $6,000.00 per month
For parking follow these simple steps:
- Park in a designated parking bay
- Purchase your Permit
- Note the expiry time on your ticket
- Place the Permit on the dash board
- Go about your business
- Return on time
Persons parked in designated parking bays without displaying their permits will have their vehicles clamped.
