Residents of Portmore are being reminded that they have a role to play in the fight against Dengue fever. The Aedes Egypti mosquito carries the Dengue virus. It cannot survive without containers. Therefore, it is important to check your containers such as flower pots and pet bowls and clean them regularly. Get rid of the breeding sites in your community. Without the Aedes mosquito there is no dengue.
