Hat Day
November is being celebrated as Local Government Month and for this month every Friday the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation will feature a different theme, where staff members will participate and contribute towards a Christmas Treat that will be held at a basic school in the community in December 2017.
To show their support members of staff came to work in their hats on Friday, November 10, 2017 for “Hat Day” at the Corporation. It was a fun-filled regular work day as the public was not short changed; regular duties were performed.
Our staff believes in giving back to the community and so we anticipate that our project will be a success.
The themes were - Friday, November 3 - “Tie day”; November 17 - “Blue and Yellow” (the Corporation’s colours) and finally November 24 - “School Uniform Day”.
