Shops before the overhaul

The recent official opening of 10 newly-built shops at the Cecil Charlton Park here, marks a step forward in phase two of plans to transform the town centre and foster orderly social and economic growth.Roughly constructed parish council-owned shops which were rented to retailers, were last year closed and then demolished to facilitate the more modern infrastructure at a cost of approximately $11.2 million, done with financial aid from the Canadian Government.
