Linstead Town Centre Increases Awareness of Citizens in Northern St. Catherine
Several summer workers were in August 2017, tasked with handing out flyers and brochures to persons in the streets of Linstead. This sensitization exercise was geared to publicize the services offered at the Linstead Town Centre, and increase awareness of citizens living in Linstead and communities within Northern St. Catherine.
The Town Centre, located at 1 Rodney Hall Road, neighboring Samms Mall, King Street, continues to facilitate citizens with applications for Barber, Hairdresser, Cosmetology, Barber Shop and Salon Licences. Property Tax payments, Amusement Permits, Burial on Family Lands and Public Cemetery fees are also among obligations dealt with there.
The Linstead Town Centre is an extension of the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation and is geared towards providing direct management of the affairs of Linstead and communities within the St. Catherine North Division.
The management of the St. Catherine Municipal Corporation urges citizens of Linstead to utilize the services provided at the Centre, as it was designed to effectively serve them and other communities that falls under the purview of that geographical location.
